Digital Inclusion Policy Support

We support government agencies in developing policies and strategies that address barriers to digital inclusion using foresight approaches. Our work also extends to supporting the practical implementation of these policies, including sandboxes and proof-of-concept initiatives.

We focus on policies that improve the affordability, availability, and relevance of broadband — particularly those that bridge the gap between access and actual usage. The low adoption of broadband in Uganda is largely attributed to these three core challenges.

Additionally, we work to raise awareness and build the capacity of policy makers on digital inclusion programs aimed at sustainably closing Uganda’s digital divide. Our efforts cut across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, civic engagement, employment, and economic monitoring.
